Youth Weightlifting Program

Our Youth Weightlifting Class will integrate strength and conditioning foundations and provide
the tools needed to help develop the basic mechanics of lifting. As part of the program, they will
also learn the two Olympic lifts: The Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

From there each athlete may choose to enter a competition. There is never any pressure to
compete and if they do not, the strength, power, and speed gained from their training in this
program will still be hugely beneficial to other sports and aspects of their lives.

This class is for youth ages 9-16. All backgrounds are welcome, no previous sport or lifting
experience necessary. The program includes both training as a group as well individualized skill
development. Completion of our Intro Package is mandatory before joining.

Regular attendance is expected, but we understand that the occasional absence due to illness
or other events may occur. This has been factored into our fee structure and we do not offer
refunds for missed sessions. However there are no contracts and memberships may be
canceled with one week’s notice. If a session is canceled for any reason by the coach,
memberships will be extended for that length of time.

Membership Fees:

$100 plus GST / month
